They make a fantastic hedging plant,and grow quickly in the warm weather.
They are Waterwise plants and extremely hardy being drought and frost tolerant
This evergreen shrub with its dense miniature pine-like foliage and refreshing resinous scent is treasured as a cooking ingredient, and is perfect for hedging.
Medicinally, rosemary is both antiseptic and antioxidant, and is used by herbalists for migraine, depression, stress related digestive problems, and to improve memory.
The essential oil of rosemary diluted in olive oil (or olive oil in which branches of the fresh herb have been soaked for a week) is a traditional massage for sciatica and rheumatism. Two cups of very concentrated rosemary tea added to the bath is used to relieve tiredness, aching muscles, and tension.
